Mad Men/Goals

Holy f Mad Men is on too! This flight is not half bad.

I'm getting bored though. We're over Wyoming now, so I've been in the air for about 3 hours.

I think it's time to discuss some goals for GART.

1) Wolves! This will be my seventh time in Yellowstone and I've never seen wolves! I would've last yer but Matt and Steph ruined my chances to befriend an excellent tracker who I met/stalked. I'm not really over it yet, and if they read this, they can consider this a long distance scold.

2) Hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. The problem with this goal is that it's like 16 miles round trip, and the last 8 miles and straight uphill. Can I do it? No, probably not. Will I try? Hell yea! Will I be airlifted out of the Grand Canyon with severe heat stroke and dehydration? Hm.

3) I'd like to see another osprey.

4) Grow a really sick beard and hide things in it.

5) Buy a knife. Really! I would like a new hunting knife, even though I obviously have never hunted. I want it to be made of bone too. Bison bone.

6) I would like to see some redwoods with Grace. Oh and blue whales! The largest animal that ever lived! Bigger than any dinosaur. I would be verrry excited, but might jump overboard to try to surf on his back.

7) Convince Matt to fly to SLC on the 15th or Flagstaff on the 18th. C'mon dude.

8) I feel like I'm running out of goals but I need to get to ten. Therefore, Goal 8 is think of ten goals.

9) Gasp! I forgot to mention anything about bears. I would like to see a grizzly, of course! But I would also like to see some bear cubs. It's been a while since I saw any...I think the last were in Shenendoah about 5 years ago.

10) Not die or get seriously injured. But I would like to come close so I have some good stories to share, like when I got charged by a moose or lost in the desert with no water.

West Wing

West Wing is an excellent television program. It combines humor, snappy writing, and important political issues. That is why it is one of my favorite shows of all time, along with The Wire, Mad Men, and The Office.

Anyway, you can now watch west wing on airplanes. That's awesome! I only discovered it bc my seat neighbor had it on. I was watching When Harry Met Sally at the time, but switched channels for President Bartlet.

Look how happy it makes me!

Departure

This is a weird way to start a
Great American Road Trip but I guess it's acceptable.
